Founding Managing Director

Simon, born in Bulawayo, has a Bachelor of Business Science degree from Cape Town. A former City of Harare Councillor for Highlands, he currently serves on both the Councils of Mukuvisi Woodlands and the Computer Society of Zimbabwe in the position of Treasurer.

Non-Executive Director

With her early years in banking and secretarial positions with international companies, Joy brings a great deal of common sense and practicality to the running of Touchstone in her role as Non-Executive Director.

Jacquie da Silva

Administration Manager

Jacquie has served Touchstone in this position for over 25 years, since 1998. She performs many of the duties of a Company Secretary and is responsible for all accounting functions as well as the Office Administration.

Daisy leads our Outsourcing Services and is also responsible for liaison with our Software Development team. She learnt to programme herself in the early days of her career. Previously, Daisy had worked for one of our clients and joined Touchstone in 2002

Muchie has been associated with Touchstone since 2000 in various capacities, including customer and User of Payplus and PayDay. He now leads our Marketing initiatives around the country and is based in the midlands.

Training and Communications

Nicholas joined Touchstone as a payroll cadet in 1999 with 2 other school leavers. He presents our Training modules in our comprehensive CPD programme, which includes 43 levels of PayDay knowledge, and one-day courses for Payroll Auditors, IT Managers, FDs, and CEOs. He conducts briefings for Management, Workers’ Committees on ZIMRA and other statutory issues.

Stella joined Touchstone in 1998 as a Secretary/Receptionist and was elevated to the Bureau Department in 2006 where she was under the tutelage of Sue Green. She processes payrolls for more than 40 companies.

Farrah has run PayDay for her family’s borehole business for over 7 years. She is the most recent member to join Team Touchstone. She comes from Kwekwe, but moved to Bulawayo a few years ago.

Aidan Gamble

Technical Services

Aidan joined Touchstone in 2022. He has been blind since birth, but developed a love for all things to do with computers when he attended Prince Edward school and was their first student to use a computer every day. He uses RIM, a software that functions much like Anydesk, to install PayDay remotely for new clients, and assist other with their technical problems. He is a registered Microsoft Dealer, and we partner with him to supply our clients with genuine, registered Microsoft products.

joined our Team in 2022. He has a background and experience in Systems administration and implementation when working with National Foods from 1999 to 2005. More recently he has had 10 years’ experience with PayDay whilst at Zengeza 1High School as the Accounting Officer.

Support Base Trainee

Tatenda is on attachment from The Midlands State University where he is studying Business and ICT. He will stay on with Touchstone and continue with his studies after hours and weekends. He is already adept at the more technical aspects of PayDay, but has passed the Advanced Level, and also the IPTA diploma last year. He enjoys providing Network support for our clients' general payrolls, some of which have over 1000 employees, and are installed on a server with several operators’ computers He is also conversant with the Office products and enjoys using development tools such as PHP, HTML, and CSS.

She is studying at HIT in Harare on the 4-year B.Tech (Hons) Software Engineering programme which provides graduates with the know how to develop robust software applications. Her husband is based in Bulawayo, and is enjoying her attachment at the Western Base.
